Eikosha Air Spencer CS-X3 H4 CSX3 Air Freshener - Squash

Finally found this fragrance , I used to get the California scent squash one , this one smells the same but stronger , the case is dope to I’m definitely re ordering

This is exactly what I wanted when I ordered. The scent is spot on. However the little sticky adhesive that came with it to mount on or under dash didn’t work whatsoever. I reinstalled with a different double sided sticky I had on hand and it’s been great since. Haven’t had to refill yet but I can tell the scent is not as strong as when I opened it. I hope it lasts, I did mount it as out of the sunshine as I could in myNew car. Will buy refills probably regardless. Thanks. Flavor that came with my cartridge holder was my preferred green citrus label flavor

I was skeptical as I read so many amazing reviews about this car air freshener, but decided to go for it since I didn't just want a cardboard tree hanging from my dash that only lasts a couple weeks. In reading reviews, I took one person's advice and upon receipt of the item, I cut the air freshener block in half (be careful, this process needed a very sharp knife) and put one half into a sealed ziplock container, and the other into the cassette-like holder for my car. I am so glad I did this because the scent from just the one half is absolutely plenty for my Hyundai Elantra GT car. The scent is somewhat hard to describe, but I love it and even my husband (who hates anything perfume-like) enjoys it too. I placed the Air Spencer in the small cubby in front of the gear shifter under the dash in a hidden away place and the scent still wafts through the entire car. I've had the item in my car for two weeks now and the scent is still the same potency as it was on day one, so I'm hopeful this will last several more weeks. Will definitely purchase again!

It's not perfect, but it's pretty damn close.** Make sure you put the freshener immediately into the container, and slide the vents closed as much as possible EXCEPT for a very tiny opening, so you can barely see inside (thread of a hair type opening, okay, make 5 threads of hair)This will be for the first 1-2+ weeks. Once it gets to the point where it's hard for you to smell it or you don't smell it at all, opening it a little more, then repeat.. you get the idea.This is VERY strong as soon as you get it, and if you leave it open too much, the smell will give you a headache and it will overall not be a good experience.The scent is great as long as you don't have it blasting full strength.There are also 2 double sided foam stickers so you can mount it just about anywhere that's solid. I placed mine on the dash over the passenger seat.The container looks really nice, even though it's just cheap plastic, so it does make a fancy addition to your car.

Wow! It smells so good! I didn't know what to expect from "Squash." Some people said it's fruity, others said it kinda smells like bubblegum. I can see both. Though that's not entirely accurate, at least to me. It definitely smells of citrus, but not tangy and acidic. It's a very, VERY, sweet citrus. What it's smells most like to me is candy. Like a huge bag of assorted gummies and taffy, with that sweet citrus over the top. It's an insanely sweet smell, but it's not over powering.I love it!The cassette that holds the scent cartridge is smaller than I thought too. Which is nice. I thought it would be about the size of a flagship android or iphone. But eyeballing it, it's about 5x3" and 3/4-1" thick. Easy to hide under your seat or dash with the provided double sided tape.

The Squash Air Spencer CS-X3 Air Freshener is great smelling, high quality air freshener (it should be for the price). The case is made of plastic (apparently), the top grill looking quite like metal and the rest plastic. Inside the box you'll find the the case and inside is the Squash cartridge which is sealed in plastic to preserve the scent. Speaking of the scent, Squash smells much like Fruity Pebbles with hints of cirtus and is actually quite a pleasing scent. Also inside the box are two pieces of small sticky foam to hold your air freshener in place. The cartridge has a vent that can open and close, in my opinion the vent shouldn't be open all the way, with it open all the way the smell is too overpowering. Instead with the vent closed all the way the scent isn't overpowering and lasts much longer. Overall this air freshener is one of the best I have ever used (much better than Little Trees imo).Pros+ Casing looks great+ Great scent (imo Fruity Pebbles w/ hints of citrus)+ Replaceable cartridgesCons- Pricey- Doesn't last that long

Smells amazing, but the scent fades quickly even with constricted flow. Lasts for roughly a few weeks.

Before purchasing this product I was searching across the stores for a real good product for my new Mercedes. Nope my car doesn't stink as it's new, but ordered this expecting a pleasant aroma while in the SUV. I really didn't wanted the often used AirWicks and Trees so thought of giving this a try after reading the reviews. A wonderful product.Pros:1. Neat looking container.2. A wonderful fragrance. Pleasant and not unbearable. Smooth.3. I opened the cartridge inside my house to fix it in it's container box. I was immediately able to enjoy it's fragrance across the room. The fragrance was still present inside the room for almost 10 to 15 minutes after fixing the box in my SUV.4. I am using Squash. I thought of a veggie (Squash) and once thought of trying Crystal or Lime as this is my first CS-X3. But after reading reviews for Crystal and Lime, people said Squash is better. It doesn't smell like Veggie but a bit of Bubblegum. But it's nice and pleasant.Cons:Will update if any after using this product for couple of months.I read couple of reviews that it doesn't smell right out of the box or it has no fragrance at all. That ain't true as I was able to smell the fragrance right away after cutting the plastic bag of the fragrance cartridge. Rather I have hardly kept the cartridge vent open and it still mixes wonderfully with the air inside the car. FYI, am not fond of the Bubblegum flavor either, but this one is pretty decent and bearable. I will be trying Crystal next and then Lime. Way better than AirWick, Trees and Refresh brands. I was skeptical enough before purchasing this product but it paid off.Suggestion to the manufacturer:Could have given small samples of other fragrances within the original box to maximize your business and letting customers make a better choice.Updated July 29th 2011:Yes, I have lost the fragrance totally. Till this date I rated this product 4 stars but I am taking out a star from it now. It last for hardly a month and the cartridge valve wasn't opened much. Though I am going to order Citrus and test its lasting power. Will update it later.Cheers...

I love the way this smells, I just wish it lasted longer. You are lucky to get a month max out of it. I start off by only opening the holder one click. that helps it last longer. After a few weeks, you can barely smell it, even if its open the entire way. The size is about as big as it can be, before it gets too big. Everyone does compliment how good it smells that gets in my vehicle.

Been using this product for over 18 years. My go-to scent, refreshing, strong, long lasting. Unique scent always gets compliments.

The smell is JuicyFruit... almost to an exact smell. I would say there is a slight mix of cherry and maybe some soap? When I first opened this, I couldn't place the smell. It wasn't as simple as one kind of smell or one fruit. Something was familiar and I just couldn't figure out what it was, until someone walked by chewing some JuicyFruit and it hit me. This is the smell of my car air freshener and this also explains why so many people love this smell, as JuicyFruit is a huge seller of gum and was hugely popular a while back. I hope this helps people who, like me, have been wracking their brains on why this smells so familiar. I could also be wrong, and this is just what it smells like to me, either way, if you are on the fence about this air freshener, don't be! This is amazing, smells great, lasts quite a while and even looks nice. Get it!

Classic scent of the 2000's and an absolute staple of Japanese car culture. Like others have said, this doesn't smell like a squash or gourd. The scent is themed after Ramune which is a popular soda flavor in Japan (if you haven't tried that I highly suggest going to your local import goods store and buying a bottle)I would describe the smell as citrus mixed with juicy fruit gum with a sprinkling of new car smell. It's fantastic and appeals to men and women (I've had different female friends gush over it multiple times when they first get into my car for the first time)Many companies have tried to capture the scent of Eikosha's Air Spencer Squash scent but so far none have succeeded. There isn't another product out there that matches the aroma. I've tried them all in an effort to find a cheaper alternative. Liquid sprays, metal tins, and other gel based brands. None of them come close despite what ANYONE says.The holder for the refills is attractive and looks great mounted just about anywhere in a car, but I'd highly recommend putting it somewhere that doesn't get direct sunlight. If you put it on your dashboard or in a place that gets a lot of sunlight the smell can fade within a week. I opted to put mine under the glove box and with the fins opened half way on the air freshener I get about a month as advertised.At the time of writing this review you can get the refills for around $6.36 a piece when buying in a pack of ten from various sellers. It's a bit pricey compared to locally available brands and scents, but it's a price I'm willing to pay. My car doesn't feel like my car without it anymore.You'll be hooked on these after your first purchase.

It’s a good scent but not as strong of a scent as its other counterpart that comes in a tin. The tins lasted me a few months, I hope this lasts longer, but it seems these things last in more humid areas rather than dryer climates. The value of the refillable is worth it if you buy the refills in bulk as expected. It’s easy to hide under the seats rather than setting on the dash if one prefers it.My online gripe is the scent options, we only get to choose about four compared to the tin ones that have way more.

Who doesn't love juicy fruit gum? Sweeter and less chemical smell compared to the can types. Longevity isn't great, a smelly tree will outlive these hands down, but you can also cut up the insert for a few days extra.For months these will have a lingering scent, just not powerful enough to scentify your car. They smell great though, and I usually throw the old ones under the seat in the floor vent and get a couple weeks more until they give up.The dispenser is aesthetics only, you can absolutely use the refills only. They are sized to be placed somewhere in view and not be in the way, and match well with 80s-00s styling. Blended in well with the 510 interior just as it does the Tacoma. For a more permanent install, use some 3M tape... just know if you leave it the sun, after a year or so they kind of get loose and tend to open up from time to time. They are priced to be replaced and these are bespoke items so you'll be in the market to buy more most likely. Squash is the best scent.

Brings me back to when Super Autobacs was in SoCal. :)
